Upstart Kitchen offers 24/7 access to 1,300 sq. ft. of rentable kitchen space which provides all the equipment you need to scale your output, develop new products, and ultimately run your culinary business successfully.

In addition to our network of chefs, food entrepreneurs and business people, the UpStart Kitchen Manager will be a consistent resource for all member-clients.

 

The UpStart Kitchen Manager ensures the kitchen runs well operationally and will help guide, encourage, and connect entrepreneurs to resources.

 UpStart Kitchen is more than a shared-space commercial kitchen.

As an incubator kitchen, UpStart exists to provide food entrepreneurs access to small business resources in licensing, business planning, marketing, budgeting, hiring, and financing.

Rather than reinvent the wheel, Upstart is partnering with excellent, existing resources in Milwaukee to help entrepreneurs thrive.

We're collaborating with organizations such as:

Rates based on home address zip code of primary business owner. All rates subject to change based on demand.

Per Kitchen Space

  • $14/hr - target zip codes*

    • 53202, 53203, 53204, 53205, 53206, 53208, 53209, 53210, 53211, 53212, 53214, 53215, 53216, 53218, 53220, 53221, 53223, 53224,  53225, 53233, 53295, 53110, 53172 

  • $16/hr - Milwaukee Co. residents 

    • all other Milwaukee County residents outside of target zip codes

  • $18/hr  - standard rate

    • ​for all businesses whose owners live outside of Milwaukee County​

Fridge, Freezer & Dry Storage

  • $10/week per full-shelf

    • All zipcodes​
